  2. Alright time for my daily comments. Obviously my team's concept is up here, and I won't comment on that, but I'll focus on the other concept.

The city and team name is a total hit. Las Vegas Aces is a great name for a team, and I like how the concept uses both meaning of "ace" and feels close to home with the use of the spade symbol. The logos themselves are a little "cartoony" for my liking, and the inaugural patch isn't too exciting. The colours are awful, but on a jersey they somehow look fantastic! I wouldn't use a brown 3rd with the secondary logo, unless there was some sort of an outline on the logo. But the main set really capture the identity of the team. Having said that, those numbers are terrible to look at. I'm glad somebody did a pink jersey, and this jersey does look fantastic on this concept. Finally, the ticket has a good approach, but its lacking professionalism and the "wow-factor" that stands out against other tickets in this competition.

Alright, rant over. I don't mean to be too discouraging on my review. While execution wasn't quite to par, this is one of my favourite concepts so far.

    1. My only problem is the jerseys they are wearing don't match what they are shown to wear.

    2. I'm with Matt, first thing I noticed when looking at the cards was the jerseys. But that being said, the Card idea was solid! they turned out looking pretty sweet aside from the jersey hiccup.

  4. Thanks Ryan, that is by far my favourite part of our concept.

  5. Our goal with the odd color scheme was to capture the look of a WWI plane. They usually were brown or tan and often grey while having red white and blue simbols. We felt like it was something that has never really been done before so we thought why not.

  6. Oh I get that, I just commented how, without being on something together, individually those colours look awful for design. But together, they really capture the war plane look, and look pretty awesome. It was meant as a compliment, but it probably didn't come out like that, sorry.
